Purchases and access
Cases are original fictional investigation games delivered through this website. Each case is a separate one-time purchase in US dollars; no subscription is included. The case page and Stripe checkout show the applicable price, taxes and total before you pay. Payments are sold through Stripe Managed Payments, acting as merchant of record as identified at checkout. Stripe handles payment processing and applicable sales-tax collection and remittance in its supported markets. The case content and game support are provided by Robert Hawkins, trading as The Unknown Archive. While the site displays its pre-launch notice, public purchases are not open.
When purchases open, sign in with your email and password before checkout. A successful confirmed payment links the purchased case to that account. Return to My Cases using the same account. Do not purchase under an account you cannot access. Payment alone does not transfer access to another account.
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to play the purchased case through this service. It does not include future cases, ownership of the materials, resale rights, or permission to publish evidence, recordings or solutions. Rights granted by applicable law are unaffected.
Requirements and saved progress
Read the content and requirements notice. The case requires a current browser, an internet connection, and the account used to buy it. A larger screen is recommended for comparing documents. Captions and written transcripts are included for recordings.
Purchase access is stored on the server. Investigation progress is saved in the browser on your device. Clearing browser storage may erase progress. Use the case's save export and import tools to back it up or move it to another device. Automatic progress synchronization is not included.
Delivery problems and refunds
If a paid case does not appear, do not pay again. Refresh My Cases after a moment, then contact support with the receipt reference if it is still missing. Our refund and access policy explains how requests are handled. We do not promise permanent hosting or a fixed service lifetime. If we plan to discontinue paid access, we will explain the arrangements to affected buyers.
Fiction and audience
All case characters, evidence and events are fictional. The case includes mature themes and unsettling sound and imagery. It is not a record of a real investigation. Read the content notice before purchasing.
Use of the site
Do not share account access, redistribute purchased materials, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access. Access may be suspended where necessary to address abuse or a disputed or refunded payment. Contact support if you think this was an error.
Updates
We may correct case errors and update the service. Material purchase details apply as presented when you buy; later edits do not remove your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
